One of Hanna's master formulas. The synergy of the ingredients in this fantastic tonic makes its uses limitless. Considered by many to be Hanna's greatest formula. This dry herb blend can be used as a tea, although it is really designed for making your own H12 tincture!

Directions

Take 2 oz. (contents of box) of H- 12 and pour 1 pint warm water over it. Let sit overnight in a closed jar which is big enough to hold 2 quarts or more. Next morning add 1 quart of Bourbon 80 proof and let sit on the window sill for 10 days. Shake every day once or twice. After 10 days strain the fluid off and fill in small bottles. Pour another pint of Bourbon over the herbs and let sit for 3 days. Then strain and squeeze the herbs as dry as you can preserving every drop of goodness. This second harvest is for external purposes. It is darker and thicker than the first part. Keep in closed containers.

Great for cuts, burns and bruises

As I mentioned on the phone, we've been using Hanna's
H-12 formula for a very long time. We especially made use of the last mixture of the formula (for external use). My husband was a General Contractor and we saw a lot of cuts, burns and bruises. With some H-12 on a cotton swab applied to the affected area, we were able to keep it clean and let it heal without scaring most times. When you first put it on a burn, it burns more than when you first burned yourself, but, then it cools the burned area.

By applying it faithfully at least a couple of times a day he remained scar free. Same goes for cuts and bruises. I always head for H-12 when I burn myself while cooking or bump into something. It's also wonderful for a sunburn. Get to it early enough and guess what? No blisters. Don't know if it does or not, but, it must surely work just as well for skiers. Great formula!
