Taking Supplements with Prescription Medication

To obtain information about whether any natural remedy is compatible with prescription medications, please consult with your pharmacist and/or medical doctor. You many also contact the nonprofit Herb Research Foundation at (303) 449-2265. There is a small fee for the hotline service, which allows consumers to ask questions about herbs by name.

Drug interactions with foods, vitamins, herbs or other supplements are reported and recorded on a case-by-case basis only; there is no advance research done prior to marketing a drug to determine whether it will cause a reaction with herbs or other substances. Those few herbs that have had reports are included in the Herb Research Hotline information.

Hanna believed that natural remedies almost always complimented your doctor’s recommendations. It is rare, but does happen that the two conflict. We will always be happy to give you the ingredients in our products and do not have any hidden ingredients. If it’s in there, it’s on the label. It’s that simple. We do not use any fillers, binders or harsh chemicals to extract our herbs or make our Vibropathics™. If you are concerned about one of our products conflicting with your prescriptions, look up the ingredients. Each product on our web site is a link. Click on the name and it will take you to a more information page with ingredients and other information about that product. Your doctor should be able to advise you properly if given a list of ingredients.
